Inspiration for Villa H was drawn from Nordic cabins and villas, renowned for their simple, modern, and clean aesthetic, as well as their ability to blend intimacy and warmth within a rugged Alpine setting. The home’s distinctive “H” shape creates two private courtyards, each oriented to maximize views and natural light. The expressive, folded roof forms are playful and varied, resulting in a range of light-filled spaces that feel both intimate and cozy, yet expansive and voluminous. The use of durable, natural materials that are lightly washed and weathered creates a soft, warm palette that reflects and integrates seamlessly into the Alpine surroundings.
