Inspired by the monochromatic black paintings of Ad Reinhardt and Frank Stella, this structure embraces a minimalist palette of concrete, metal, and glass. Subtle textures, perforations, and transparencies shift with the light, adding depth to the design. Known as “Space Pod” by the neighbors, it serves as a versatile space for a young landscape architect, with a garage and bike workshop on the lower level and a flexible upper level for work, play, and relaxation. The second story also offers glimpses of the Flatirons, connecting the space to its natural surroundings.
